Soleace was approached by owners from a prestigious private property on Hamilton Island to assist with waterproofing to a feature Barramundi pond, this included design and construction.
The pond was to create a dramatic entrance to the property.
Soleace reviewed all of its waterproofing techniques and provided a solution to owners . The pond was to be waterproofed using a special membrane system for this particular substrate.
The membrane had to be versatile enough so as to be manageable with all the plumbing works and also not be a toxic threat to the fish.
Soleace provided technical advice on the construction of the pond and plumbing so as the waterproofing system could be integrated into the construction program.
The pond took approx 2 weeks to design, construct and waterproof ready to take the fish into their new home.
he pond currently takes a front stage view at the resort where it is viewed and admired by all the guests.
